Heuer Carrera Chronograph 1960s
The Heuer Carrera is one of those utilitarian objects whose inherently good design allowed it to make the leap from practical tool to iconic design object. As with any vintage Carrera, it looks killer on the wrist.
Unlike many cult watches the Carrera was an immediate hit, with a simple, clean design that captured the spirit of motorsports in the 1960s. The reference 2448 is a wonderful example of what makes the Carrera – a three-register black dial in flawless condition that shows great attention to detail.
Of course, there is also the famed Carrera case featuring aggressive angled lugs and a beautiful gold capped case.
