Universal Geneve Polerouter black 1960s
The Polerouter was produced in 1954 by Universal Genève in partnership with Scandinavian Airline System (SAS) by a then 24-year-old Gerald Genta. Universal Genève developed the automatic Polerouter to be more resistant to the strong magnetic fields at the North and South poles.
The version you see here is stainless steel with a stunning black dial in flawless condition and mirrored steel chapter ring. Overall, this is a beautiful designed watch with a rich aviation history.
