Universal Geneve Polerouter Date 1970s
The Polerouter was produced in 1954 by Universal Genève in partnership with Scandinavian Airline System (SAS) by a then 24-year-old Gerald Genta. Universal Genève developed the automatic Polerouter to be more resistant to the strong magnetic fields at the North and South poles.
The version you see here is Polerouter Date version with automatic microtor in stainless steel with a stunning silver cross-hair dial and a mirrored stainless steel chapter ring which plays with light amazingly.
