Universal Geneve Polerouter De Luxe 18k Rose 1950s
The Polerouter was produced in 1954 by Universal Genève in partnership with Scandinavian Airline System (SAS) by a then 24-year-old Gerald Genta. Universal Genève developed the automatic Polerouter to be more resistant to the strong magnetic fields at the North and South poles.
The version you see here is one of the first full 18k rose gold De Luxe edition with a stunning rose gold dial in great condition and a very nice finishing and a mirrored rose gold chapter ring. Overall, this is a beautiful designed watch with a rich aviation history.
